The movie stars Johnny Depp, Aidan Quinn, Mary Stuart Masterson and Julianne Moore. It is an absolutely stunning, quirky, romantic comedy.
Mary Stuart Masterson plays a young woman dealing with certain mental problems and random outbursts, including setting things on fire. Johnny Depp, as usual, plays an eccentric man who comes into town - he is not very educated, and just as "unusual" as Mary's character. Needless to say, they fall in love.
I would definitely recommend watching this movie for many reasons. It is funny, quirky, romantic, and really just a "feel good" movie. I was definitely very impressed by it. It's one of those movies that finishes off with an "awww" moment.
